Description
The UG B100 XHP crossover from ETON is an optional plug-and-play solution that has been specially developed for BMW E-series models. This high-pass crossover is required for pure speaker replacement and can be easily inserted into the signal path of the mid/high unit thanks to the precisely fitting vehicle connectors. It prevents high excursions of the midrange driver and thus ensures higher levels. Please note that this crossover is not required if an amplifier with an active crossover is already installed. Resistance problems may occur in F or G series vehicles, so its use is only recommended in the E series.
Product features
Optional plug-and-play high-pass crossover from BMW for all BMW E-series models. The optional high-pass crossover is required for pure loudspeaker replacement. Thanks to the precisely fitting vehicle connectors, it is plugged into the signal path of the mid/high unit. It prevents high excursions of the midrange driver and separates them in the working range of the speakers. This makes higher levels possible. If an amplifier with an active crossover is installed, this crossover is not required. Use in F or G series vehicles can lead to resistance problems (noise)! The use of the crossover is therefore only recommended in E-series vehicles. We are working on a revised version (as of 08/2022).
