Description
The Power Tuned 9510k ESP from renowned manufacturer DD Audio is an impressive 25cm (10") subwoofer. As part of the 9500 subwoofer line, which is used in the world's loudest systems, this model provides powerful bass reproduction. Equipped with innovative technology such as EROM and V-ROM surrounds, free-flow motor cooling and a multi-layer spider, it pulls out all the stops to deliver optimum performance. The subwoofer can easily handle 1000-2000 watts of continuous power and impresses with bursts of up to 8000 watts. In addition to its impressive performance as standard, the Power Tuned 9510k ESP also offers increased power in its size class thanks to the Evolution Subwoofer Package (ESP). ESP-equipped drivers feature larger diameter suspensions, deeper frames and exclusive cone and surround designs.

The SuperCharge option
- With the Supercharge option, you'll hear even tighter and cleaner bass across the entire power range.
- What exactly happens with SuperCharging? By adding a specially shaped neodymium shorting ring on a flush cut pole piece, with the opposite polarity facing down, you redirect otherwise lost magnetic energy into the voice coil gap. This increases the usable motor power by 20-25%, so that smaller, lighter motors have the same drive energy as larger motors.
- You can't drive a SuperCharged sub with more power and the SPL doesn't increase, but you will hear a cleaner output at higher levels. SuperCharged subwoofers use the power you give them more efficiently, but you still have the same heat dissipation and voice coil area. This means that the power handling is the same as the standard model.
- Info: The Supercharge subwoofers are made to order. The delivery time is 4-6 weeks in addition to the stated delivery time.
ESP subwoofer features
- Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB) - The CFB composition uses a potent carbon fiber-based cocktail to give you the highest strength-to-weight ratio in the industry.
- Vario-Density Extended Range of Motion Surround (V-ROM) - Provides the ultimate in linear control at high excursion while enabling dynamic sounding bass response. The control ribs are compressed to a lower density than the main surround body to provide a continuously variable control system. The harder you drive it, the more control you get.
- Tuned Spider System (TSS) - Each suspension is tuned to specific performance characteristics, e.g. High Definition, Power Handling, X-Stiff Control.
- Super-Frame (SFrame) - Maximizes the spider diameter, cone diameter, suspension deflection and thus works as a secondary shorting ring and provides additional heat dissipation for better heat flow from the coil.
- SuperCharge option possible!
