Plus One™ woofer cones
    • Harman's patented (US Patent No. 7,548,631) Plus One™ polypropylene woofer cones provide up to 35% more cone area by moving the attachment point between the surround and frame outwards. The benefit of this technology is an increase in overall efficiency of up to 2 dB. This ensures superior performance, both when upgrading a factory system and in a pure retrofit system with external amplification.
Dome tweeter with edge drive
    • Edge-driven tweeters provide a wider and smoother high-frequency range.
Precisely fitting construction.
    • Careful customization is of the utmost importance for the success of this speaker family.
External crossover with 0/+3dB tweeter level control
    • The Stage3 6-1/2" component systems are equipped with external crossovers to precisely control the frequency distribution between the woofer and the tweeter. To further tune the system, a 0/+3 dB tweeter level control has been incorporated to allow adjustment to the position of the tweeter.
Ventilated basket frame construction
    • The super-rigid, ventilated baskets help to cool the voice coils and make the speaker so reliable. Not only do they look cool, but they also offer a real advantage: they dissipate heat away from the motor structure, almost like a fan, as the cone moves through its stroke. The benefits are lower distortion at high output levels, longer speaker life and higher power handling.
