Peak limiter
Professional loudspeaker systems are designed to operate at almost full power for long periods of time. Under these conditions, however, the drivers must be protected from extreme peaks. For protection, the PPA800DSP has an adjustable limiter that keeps the output power of the amplifier under control. With adjustable output threshold, response time and fallback time, you can set up your system to keep the output power at a safe level while retaining most of the original dynamics.
Adjustable filters
With adjustable high and low pass filters on each output (12 to 48 dB/octave), you can create a seamless transition between your woofer and tweeter without the need for a power-hungry passive crossover network. In addition, you can also create a subsonic filter to protect woofers or even control out-of-control tweeters with increasing top-end response.
Parametric EQ
For equalization, the PPA800DSP has 6 parametric EQ bands for each output, allowing certain peaks and dips in the response of the drivers to be minimized and the overall response to be adjusted as desired. This amplifier can also store a total of 5 user-defined EQ presets (custom, vocal, music, bass and treble filters) so that the finished speakers can be adapted to specific situations in no time at all.

The mixer section also has an XLR line output so you can send your signal to another powered speaker or subwoofer. You can choose whether you want to forward your mix or just the signal from channel 2. The PPA800DSP with Bluetooth 5.0 now supports True Wireless Stereo functionality. This allows two individual PPA800DSP units to be paired together to share the signal from the transmitting source. Simply connect your source to the first PPA800DSP, switch on the second and activate TWS by pressing the Bluetooth button on each of the plate amplifiers twice. The speakers will automatically route the left and right signals to the appropriate speaker, making setup quick and easy!
