For many people, the movie theater is just a place with a big screen and expensive snacks - but there is more to it that is usually not even visible: the surround sound system. It all started in the 1980s with a simple three-speaker configuration and evolved into object-based systems with up to 20 speakers. With the M6x 250.11, you can easily create a Dolby Atmos home theater setup (your active subwoofer is powered separately). You can connect your preamplifier/AV processor with either RCA or fully balanced XLR cables. The XLR connection also improves the sound quality and ensures clean signal transmission.
The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.11 will not only impress you with its sound quality, but also with its high-quality metal finish and overall clean look. The front panel, which is available in either black or silver, is made from a custom-made extruded aluminum profile with fine lines.

The M6x 250.11 offers one gold-plated RCA and one balanced XLR input per channel. If your preamplifier has XLR outputs, we always recommend a balanced connection. This type of signal transmission results in higher dynamics, less noise and an improved signal-to-noise ratio. The gold-plated, insulated speaker outputs are suitable for 4 mm banana plugs, cable lugs or bare wires. The trigger input/output allows the device to be switched on and off via other components.

Our new multi-channel amplifier has a modular design and features a 250 W class A/B amplifier stage per channel for the main channels (C, RF, LF) and 150 W per effects channel.
