- The M4b is the 3rd generation of the very popular M4 amplifier. The M4 amplifiers have a worldwide reputation for producing amazingly high but extremely stable output levels from a relatively small chassis. Since the introduction of the original M4, DD Audio has significantly improved the performance and efficiency of the power supply and extracted an additional 1,000 watts of output power. Just like the original M4, this 3rd generation is designed to be the best amplifier for heavy road use on the market. The M4b is capable of producing and maintaining clean power levels of over 5000 watts with a real world charging system.
- This amplifier also has two 50mm2 inputs each for power and ground as it requires power to generate current. The through-bolted RCAs also give this design a long service life.
- For easy installation and upgradeability, the M4b has a strap mode. When using strap mode, you can have two M4b in one installation and control the strap amplifier level settings from the main amplifier. You can also use a single gain with a remote control to control both amplifiers.
- The M4d is supplied with the M-RMT remote control. The M-RMT is a mini diagnostic center for amplifiers that can be mounted within arm's reach for real-time level adjustment. From this remote control you can also monitor the power-on status and the output clipping.
