- The Lotus Reference RW220 - L0022-04S is characterized by its high load capacity and gold-plated connections.
- It is an 8" cone driver with an extremely rigid and stable injection-molded metal basket that keeps the critical components in perfect alignment. The stiff but lightweight aluminum cone ensures enormous bass precision.
- The very long high-temperature voice coil, which is wound on an aluminum voice coil former, offers a high load capacity.
- The phase plug reduces compression due to temperature fluctuations in the voice coil, eliminates resonances that would occur in the volume between the dust cap and pole core, and increases the power handling capacity.
- The magnet system is equipped with a compressed back plate, which creates space for extreme coil deflections.
