The RD900/5 from JL Audio is a powerful 5-channel amplifier that serves as a complete system solution for your audio equipment. With 900 watts, it is capable of powering a complete audio system consisting of a subwoofer and four satellite systems. JL Audio's exclusive NexD™ switching technology allows the RD900/5 to offer 70 watts of crystal clear sound into 4 ohms for the main channels and 500 watts of robust power for a subwoofer system. It also offers a range of studio-quality signal processing features and is equipped with 12 dB/octave high-pass filters for the main channels and dedicated low-pass filters for its subwoofer channel. It is therefore a compact amplifier that combines high-end audio quality and flexibility in a single device.

- The RD900/5 is designed as a complete system solution that supplies a complete audio system, consisting of a subwoofer + four satellite systems, with 900 watts of high-performance sound.
- Equipped with JL's exclusive NexD™ switching technology, this complete powerhouse efficiently produces 70 watts of crystal clear sound into 4 ohms as well as a robust 500 watts for a subwoofer system, all from a single compact enclosure.
- Each main channel pair is also fully bridgeable and produces 200 watts of crystal clear audio quality across the entire frequency range (into 4 ohms), creating an extremely powerful 3-channel amplifier.
- On the top of the RD900/5 is a range of studio-quality signal processing functions, all concealed under a removable protective cover.
- Each main channel pair is equipped with a 12 dB/octave high-pass filter and a dedicated low-pass filter for its subwoofer channel. All three crossovers offer infinitely variable frequency selection from 50 to 500 Hz for precise filtering.
- The differentially balanced dual-range inputs are also on board and can accept most input voltage levels.
- An automatic switch-on function (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling) ensures maximum versatility.
- LED clipping indicators are also standard for each channel section. This all-new, innovative feature allows you to quickly and precisely adjust the amplifier's input sensitivity settings without the need for special equipment.
- The RD900/5 has a durable, black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted, two-color LED light strip that indicates the overall status and condition.
- With an additional RBC-1 remote control (sold separately), you can control the subwoofer's output from the comfort of the driver's seat.
