The new SB Acoustics 9.5" Satori WO24TX-4 and WO24TX-8 Textreme woofers with an increased power rating of 90W are an important addition to the Satori range, which now offers extensive options for loudspeaker designers. SB Acoustics was one of the first speaker driver manufacturers to announce the use of TeXtreme materials for diaphragms and cones. Although SB Acoustics was not the first manufacturer of cones made from TPCD material, it was probably the brand that contributed the most to the recognition and acceptance of these materials in the market. The fact that SB Acoustics introduced TeXtreme-based drivers in its high-end audio series Satori, developed by Danesian Audio, was a clear indication of the performance that Frank Nielson and Ulrik Schmidt were able to achieve.
