The ECW 638 from Morel is a 6" (15 cm) bass-midrange driver from the Elite Coppersleeve series, which is characterized by its high-quality workmanship and technical sophistication. It features a DPC dampened polymer composite cone and a large diameter Hexatech™ aluminum voice coil. The copper-insulated pole caps reduce inductance, while the Uniflow™ chassis eliminates air restrictions. The bass-midrange driver offers a high power handling of up to 1,000 watts and a frequency response of 40 to 4,000 Hz. The combination of Hybrid™ neodymium/ferrite magnet and advanced magnetic circuit makes the ECW 638 suitable for demanding audio reproduction systems. With a sensitivity of 88 dB and a low electrical resistance of 5 Ohms, this woofer offers impressive performance.
