The Rockford Fosgate Punch 300-8P 8" (20cm) cabinet subwoofer is a self-contained subwoofer enclosure with a built-in amplifier. This all-in-one solution is ideal for systems that require additional punch in the lower end of the frequency spectrum. The 8-inch, high-output subwoofer is impedance-optimized for the built-in 300-watt Class D amplifier, which features a low-pass crossover, bass EQ and phase switch. The enclosure can be connected via speaker inputs for connection to factory systems or via conventional line level inputs for aftermarket systems. It also has an intelligent automatic switch-on and switch-off function that eliminates the need for a separate switch-on cable. The cabinet itself is made of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) to achieve the best acoustic properties and covered with heat-activated vinyl to prevent staining.
