Innovativ in seiner Art, ist der QL812SP ausgestattet mit zwei premium 32-Bit Wandlern der 5er Serie von AKMs, zwei der besten Prozessoren von Analog Devices, und bietet damit echte High-End-DSP-Performance. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen DSPs mit nur einem DSP-Core, verfügt der Quantum QL812SP über so viel Reserve, dass er problemlos 12 Kanäle prozessieren kann. Darüber hinaus beinhaltet er den ESX Expert Staging Equalizer mit Balance- und Pegel-Funktion, der eine noch feinere Abstimmung ermöglicht.
