The SB Acoustics SATORI TW29BN-B dome tweeter with beryllium cone sets new standards in terms of tweeter performance. The SATORI TW29BN-B Beryllium is capable of reproducing frequencies up to 40,000 Hz and, with a resonance frequency of 750 Hz, can even be used in 2-way systems.
Beryllium is known for its open and spacious sound, often described as holographic. The self-damping properties of beryllium allow for an extended frequency response without the large peaks in frequency response at higher frequencies found in most metal dome tweeters. All dome materials have a different tonal and spatial presentation. Beryllium has a real positive difference and offers an experience unlike any other dome material.
