Silence is just as important as bombastic volume. Sound designers use sound effects, noises and music to enhance your experience. However, a soundbar can never create a true cinematic feel. The M6x 250.7 takes your home theater to the next level.

The full movie experience

For many people, the movie theater is simply a place with a big screen and expensive snacks - but there is more to it that is usually not visible at all: the surround sound system. It all started with a simple three-speaker setup in the 1980s and evolved into object-based systems with up to 20 speakers. With the new M6x 250.7, you can easily create a powerful 7.1 home theater setup (the active subwoofer is powered separately). The preamplifier/AV processor can be connected via either RCA or fully balanced XLR cables. The XLR connection also improves the sound quality and ensures clean signal transmission.

The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 will not only impress you with its sound quality, but also with its high-quality metal finish and overall clean look. The front panel, which is available in either black or silver, is a custom-made aluminum fine profile.

Connection

The M6x 250.7 offers one gold-plated RCA and one balanced XLR input per channel. If your preamplifier has XLR outputs, we always recommend using a balanced connection. This type of signal transmission results in a higher dynamic range, less noise and an improved signal-to-noise ratio. If you need the same signal on multiple inputs, e.g. for bi-amping, you can use the gold-plated RCA feed-through and distribute the signal to the next input. The gold-plated, insulated speaker outputs are suitable for 4 mm banana plugs, cable lugs or bare wires. The trigger input/output enables the device to be switched on and off via other components.

Performance

Our new multi-channel amplifier has a modular design and a 250 W class A/B amplifier stage per channel. We have designed our amplifier to produce a very natural sound by preserving all transients and micro information. The super-quiet audiophile power transformer distributes clean power, resulting in a high dynamic range and detailed soundstage. This is an essential feature for a home theater amplifier. The M6x 250.7 is able to preserve all details and emotions, regardless of the volume level. Thanks to the ingenious heat sink design, the M6x 250.7 does not need a fan to keep the amplifier cool. Despite its high performance, you will never hear any fan noise from the amplifier.
