The M2si delivers 72 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 137 watts into 4 ohms. This means that the M2si can drive a wide range of loudspeakers, even power-hungry models. The fully discrete power amplifier, complemented by its dedicated power supply and generously dimensioned toroidal transformer, guarantees reserves for proper peak performance and a wide dynamic range. Precisely tuned preamplifier and PRE/POWER configuration

The low-noise preamplifier has its own independent power supply. Ultimately, this means that the M2si offers the performance benefits of a pre/power amp configuration with the compact convenience of a one-box design. For optimum low channel volume adjustment, we use a high quality Burr-Brown stepped attenuator that delivers performance far in excess of conventional potentiometer designs.
