With the 40Ah LTO round cell 66160H - B-Grade, Yinlong presents one of the most popular lithium LTO cells, which is valued for its excellent quality and cost-effective mass production. This versatile cell is used in many applications but requires a minimum of 6 cells to achieve a nominal voltage of 13.8V. Notes on LTO cells
- The optimum operating range of YINLONG LTO cells is between 2.0V and 2.5V.
- When charging the cells above 2.5V, the voltage rises more strongly, above 2.6V very strongly. The situation is similar when discharging below 2.0V!
- It is therefore also very important to use a good active balancer for LTO cells that are connected in series.
- When working with very high currents (charging or discharging), it may be necessary to further restrict the operating range in order to avoid large voltage increases or voltage drops.
Difference between LTO - LiFePO4 lithium batteries
Lithium titanate cells (LTO)
- + extremely long service life
- + 10x longer cycle life than LiFePO4 cells
- + extremely safe
- + Very high charging and discharging currents possible (5C-10C)
