The DuraTex Roller Grade 0.5kg from Acry-Tech offers an innovative solution in the field of insulation. This coating for speaker cabinets is particularly suitable for touring cabinets and road cases and provides a scratch and weather resistant finish. A 0.5 kg kit is sufficient to cover approximately 1 square meter and is supplied with a textured roller. The non-toxic, water-based formulation dries quickly and creates a tough, waterproof surface. Applying multiple coats further increases strength and weather resistance. Easy to use, it effectively beautifies and protects wooden substrates.

DuraTex is the #1 speaker cabinet coating designed to beautify and protect wood speaker cabinets and street cabinets. DuraTex is super easy to apply and adheres exceptionally well to wood and other substrates.
Duratex's self-priming formulation eliminates the need for multi-step surface treatment. Simply roll it onto your speaker cabinets or road cases, and DuraTex's water-based, non-toxic, proprietary blend of high-tech polymers and low-volatile organic compounds dries quickly within three hours (full cure in about seven days). Creating a tough, waterproof surface.
Applying several layers of DuraTex to a cabinet or case increases the strength and weather resistance of the surfaces. DuraTex is also easy to clean and maintain, the finish looks like new even after years of wear and tear!
This kit contains a small bag of DuraTex, enough to cover and treat approximately 1 square meter of surface, about two 30 x 30 x 45 cm cabinets. Also included is a unique 7.6 cm wide textured roller (with handle) to create a raised truck bed style finish.
Application
Apply roller grade with a brush or roller to coat the surface evenly. A heavy first coat followed by a lighter second coat will give a milder texture. A heavy second coat produces a more aggressive texture. Adding a small amount of water to the product will reduce the texture profile and can give a stronger orange peel texture.
