PROPERTIES
- 2 Ω impedance to fully utilize the 65 W power per channel at 2 Ω of the AP8.9-bit amplifier.
- 75 Hz resonant frequency to extend the frequency range down to low frequencies up to 50 Hz and to increase the sound pressure level in the lower range.
- Mobile 25 mm voice coil to maximize efficiency to 95 dB.
- Mobile voice coil with 10 mm winding height to increase the maximum linear excursion to 2.8 mm and to minimize distortion, even at high volumes.
- APCX WF 2Ω woofer crossover with low-loss voice coils that shape the frequency response for optimum tuning with the tweeter.
- APCX TW 2Ω tweeter crossover with Hi-Contour function to amplify the high frequencies to achieve the right sound balance with rich low frequencies guaranteed by the woofer.
- AP 1 tweeter with an acoustic lens that balances the frequency response in the 10kHz to 13kHz range to optimize the acoustic dispersion of the product in critical OEM positions where the performance of the product is compromised by the presence of the factory grille.
- Connection cable integrated into the passive crossover with fast-on connectors that comply with OEM integration. The different connections on each of the two poles eliminate possible connection errors, speed up the installation process and make it safe in the long term.
- AP 6.5 2Ω woofer with water-repellent treated paper cone, whose profile was developed with FEM simulation technology and optimized with Klippel Scan Vibrometer.
- Woofers with reduced installation depth, which facilitates installation in OEM installation locations.
- Woofer with TPU edge (thermoplastic polyurethane) and unique "Triple Wave" profile for maximum linearity of excursion.
- Woofer with compact basket, protected by an abrasion- and scratch-resistant coating. Damping epoxy adhesive ensures perfect coupling with the motor system.
- Woofer with a high-current quick-connect terminal with double contact on the positive and negative pole for high flexibility and fast connection. The terminal is fitted with a temperature-resistant plastic cover to protect it from accidental short circuits.
- Developed with the KLIPPEL suite.
