The Sundown Audio SA6.5 v.1 was developed to achieve extremely high performance with an installation depth of less than 10cm and is the latest member of the SA series.
As with several other lines (especially the SLD and SD-4), Sundown Audio has also used a fixed-pole design here. This allows the back plate to rest against the rear wall of the cabinet. This further reduces the effective depth requirements of this subwoofer. The Sundown Audio SA6.5 v.1 has a linear excursion of a full 10 mm in one direction and an x-mech that is more than twice as large! What's more, Sundown Audio has even included a magnetic ID faraday ring to reduce inductive distortion!
