The uncompromisingly constructed 12" Maxximus MXZ-12R cabinet subwoofer from Hifonics is equipped with a heavy-duty 3" (76 mm) voice coil designed for an Xmax of +/-20 mm. In this class, not only large magnet drives and cast aluminum baskets are a matter of course, but above all robust mechanics. A heavy bass reflex speaker and two powerful bandpass systems are available. All three models are constructed with sturdy MDF walls that leave a lasting impression, and not just thanks to the extremely powerful low bass.
