The RD1000/1 is a high quality 1-channel amplifier from JL Audio. This model is a Class D RD 1000W monoblock subwoofer amplifier designed specifically for subwoofer applications. It delivers 1000 watts into 2 ohms while providing high output power with exceptional efficiency and low distortion, thanks to JL Audio's exclusive NexD™ Class D technology. - Monoblock subwoofer amplifier in Class D, 1000 W x 1 @ 2 Ω / 600 W x 1 @ 4 Ω - 14.4V
- The RD1000/1 monoblock amplifier was specially developed for subwoofer applications and delivers 1000 watts into 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD).
- At the heart of this ultra-slim and compact powerhouse is JL Audio's exclusive NexD™ Class D technology, which delivers high output power with exceptional efficiency and low distortion.
- All operating elements of the RD1000/1 are located on the top of the amplifier under a protective cover, with all connections on one side of the housing.
- The signal processing functions include a 12 dB/octave low-pass filter with infinitely variable frequency selection from 50-500 Hz and a variable bass boost EQ.
- Dual range inputs with differential balancing are also on board, capable of accepting most input voltage levels. Automatic turn-on (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling) is standard, along with a range of preamplifier outputs so that signals can be easily routed to another amplifier.
- The RD1000/1 is also equipped with a built-in LED display.
- This completely new, innovative function allows you to adjust the input sensitivity setting of the amplifier quickly and precisely without the need for special equipment.
- The RD1000/1 has a durable, black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted, two-color LED light strip that indicates the overall status and condition.
- The subwoofer level can be easily controlled from the driver's seat using the optional RBC-1 remote control (available separately).
