The C3-525 from JL Audio is a 5" (13cm) speaker set that meets your acoustic requirements with ease. Thanks to its convertible 2-way configuration in compo and coaxial system, it adapts flexibly to your installation conditions and always delivers excellent audio quality. Its main feature, besides the independent woofer and tweeter, is the possibility to be used as a coaxial or component system. - 2-way convertible components / coaxial system: 130 mm (5.25-inch) woofer, 25 mm (1-inch) silk dome tweeter
- There are times when an installation requires a separate woofer and tweeter, and others when a coaxial speaker is the better solution. With Evolution® C3 Convertible Component systems, the same product can be used in both configurations and deliver outstanding audio performance and quality in any application.
- The C3-525 system features 130 mm (5.25 inch) component woofers with oversized 30.5 mm (1.2 inch) voice coils, mineral-filled polypropylene cones and injection-molded polymer baskets. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio's extensive experience in woofer design and advanced modeling systems.
- The C3 tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome cones that deliver a powerful, extended on-axis and off-axis response.
- In-wall and "on-wall" mounting fixtures are included to accommodate a variety of installation requirements. They can also be mounted coaxially on the woofers using the brackets provided.
- C3 crossovers are compact and made of high quality components, including Mylar® capacitors and segmented air core coils. Four levels of tweeter damping and three levels of midrange presence adjustment are available for twelve possible combinations!
- Mid-bass grilles are included, each consisting of a black grille surround and a black steel grille with an electroformed JL Audio logo.
