An aluminum short-circuit and progressive roller spider reduce distortion, allowing the subwoofer to play loud and clear even at high power levels. The carbon and fiberglass dust cap has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio that increases sensitivity, allowing the unit to deliver high sound pressure levels at lower power levels.
