The Wavtech bassRESTOR is a high-low adapter and bass restoration processor. It is used to transform a high-level signal, i.e. the loudspeaker signal coming from the loudspeaker outputs of a radio, down to a low-level signal, i.e. an RCA signal that a power amplifier can use as an input signal at the RCA inputs.
A high-low adapter is therefore necessary for all applications where the radio, e.g. an OEM radio installed in the vehicle at the factory, has no loudspeaker outputs. The loudspeaker outputs can then be connected to the high-low adapter and the signal required for input to an external amplifier can then be tapped from the cinch outputs of the high-low adapter.

The bassRESTOR fills the gaps in the radio signal and processes the signal in real time as it was mixed in the original music track, giving your music just the right amount of bass back. With the unique multi-function remote control (RLC), you can adjust the overall bass volume, set the level of bass restoration effect for a specific song or turn the effect off completely if no restoration is required.

The bassRESTOR has both speaker inputs and RCA inputs, so it can be easily connected to factory or retrofitted sources. There is a variable frequency subsonic filter for fine-tuning the system.
