Description

Sky High Car Audio Big3 Upgrade ("Big Three" electrical upgrade package) cable set with 53.5mm² OFC cables for the optimal and absolutely necessary power upgrade for every Carhifi system.

Every Carhifi audio system puts a strain on the rest of your vehicle's electronics, as the standard cable cross-sections are not dimensioned for the increased performance of your system.

The so-called "Big Three" electrical upgrade package increases the voltage stability and current supply of your electrical system by enabling maximum current flow from the alternator and significantly improving the ground connection of the system to the vehicle chassis. The result is better charging performance from your alternator and increased quietness and charging voltage due to the improved ground connection.

The Sky High Car Audio Kit includes heavy-duty, oxygen-free 1/0 gauge (53.5mm²) copper wire that replaces the battery to body ground wire, the body to engine block wire and the alternator output wire. Another bonus is that the ring terminals are already crimped to one end of the cables!

Scope of delivery

    • 1x 1m 53.5mm² Sky High OFC cable (red or blue)
    • 2x 1m 53.5mm² Sky High earth cable (black)

replace the existing compound or be used in addition to the existing compound.

Step 2

Connect the second of the two earth cables between the
Ground bolt of the alternator and the body. If no ground bolt is available, one of the rear alternator fastening screws can also be used.

Step 3

Connect the remaining power cable between the charging connection of the alternator and the positive terminal of the battery, keeping it away from moving engine components and parts that generate extreme heat, such as the radiator, valve cover and exhaust manifold.

Step 4

Tie and secure each individual cable safely with
Cable ties so that you cannot move them in the engine compartment (not included)
