The Illuminator 12MU/4731T00 from Scanspeak is a 4" (10cm) midrange driver that is characterized by unique features. Manufactured in an open construction, it offers an extremely large linear excursion and a patented SD-3 underhung voice coil system with neodymium drive. These features result in very low distortion and, in combination with the patented cone, ensure low-loss linear excursion. In addition, the midrange driver has a very wide frequency range and high efficiency. In short: here you get high quality for your money.
