The ETON Arcosia 4-208 4" (10cm) midrange driver features a dynamic membrane geometry made of magnesium composite materials and produces an authentic sound. The hand-coated dust cap and the flow-optimized motor design enhance the balanced and detailed sound impression.

The Arcosia series represents the highest musical demands ever placed on a loudspeaker chassis. Arcosia stands for uncompromising sound quality.

The anodized magnesium membrane was perforated in an extremely elaborate process and coated with an olefin film. These perforations, in conjunction with the covering olefin film, create fine, bubble-shaped bulges that act like small partial vibration absorbers, thus largely preventing the formation of all modes. Furthermore, this fusion of the two components offers a more than exclusive appearance that is unmatched in the loudspeaker chassis market.

The special two-component membrane technology gives the Arcosia series excellent musical properties, which are particularly expressed in an outstanding tonal balance and warm sound characteristics. The soundstage is presented authentically and with impressive ease, creating the impression of a multi-channel system. Additional attention has been paid to the ferrite magnet system.

The special design of the magnet geometry results in a nearly perfectly symmetrical magnetic field, creating excellent vibration behavior. The particularly effective ventilation of the magnet system with optimal air circulation and heat dissipation minimizes compression effects during dynamic musical passages and large amplitudes.
