HiFonics offers the right materials for this: ZEUS AluButyl insulation panels.
Small door loudspeakers or small under-seat subwoofers do not cause the passenger compartment or sheet metal to resonate as much as comparatively full-blown 15" subwoofers. For example, new luxury class vehicles may already have better insulation ex works than comparatively simpler or older vehicles. Since the intended use can be very different, HiFonics offers different quality levels depending on the strength of the system or requirements: With the HiFonics ZEUS 120dB AluButyl insulation panels, very good results can already be achieved for most vehicles. If more powerful audio components are used or a higher level of insulation is required, the even more attenuating AluButyl ZEUS 140dB is recommended. For all those who want even more "bang" in the vehicle or simply want to play it safe, HiFonics recommends the ZEUS 160dB, which has the highest damping properties. It deadens sheet metal almost perfectly, as it has an even better internal density and an even higher mechanical loss factor. Each pack contains 8 bendable and cut-to-size panels with a total surface area of 1.48 mÂČ, which is sufficient for two doors.
