Sky High Car Audio Big3 Upgrade ("Big Three" Electrical Upgrade Package) cable set with 53.5mm² OFC wires for the optimal and absolutely necessary power upgrade for any car audio system. Every car audio system puts a strain on the remaining electronics of your vehicle, as the standard wire cross-sections are not designed for the increased power of your system.

The so-called "Big Three" electrical upgrade package increases the voltage stability and power supply of your electrical system by allowing maximum current flow from the alternator and significantly improving the system's ground connection to the vehicle chassis. The result is better charging performance of your alternator and higher idle as well as charging voltage due to the improved ground connection. The Sky High Car Audio Kit includes high-strain, oxygen-free copper cables of 1/0 Gauge (53.5mm²) that replace the ground wire from the battery to the chassis, the wire from the chassis to the engine block, and the output wire from the alternator. An additional bonus is that the ring terminals are already crimped on one side to the cables!

Scope of delivery

Installation instructions

Step 1 Connect one of the two ground cables between the battery and a solid body ground. This cable can either replace the existing ground or be used in addition to the existing ground.

Step 2 Connect the second of the two ground cables between the ground bolt of the alternator and the body. If no ground bolt is available, one of the rear alternator mounting screws can also be used.

Step 3 Connect the remaining power cable between the charging port of the alternator and the positive terminal of the battery, keeping a distance from moving engine components and parts with extreme heat generation such as the radiator, valve cover, and exhaust manifold.

Step 4 Secure and fasten each individual cable securely with cable ties so that they cannot move in the engine compartment (not included in the delivery).

Top Kabel. Allerdings ist es 70 qm² was aber nicht schlimm ist, ganz im Gegenteil. Zumindest benötigt man 70 qm² Schuhe - denn 50 qm² Schuhe passen nicht. Bin begeistert und kann es nur empfehlen.
Wer allerdings keine hydraulische Presszange besitzt ist auf eine entsprechende Firma angewiesen oder muß sich eine teure Zange kaufen. (Klauke) Die Schuhe von Hand aufpressen ist nicht machbar.
Die originalen Schuhe habe ich aber auch nicht verwendet sondern Schuhe die länger sind und vor allem wasserdicht verschweißt werden.
Die beigelegten Kupferschuhe sind zu kurz und die vorgefertigten sind nicht wirklich wasserdicht. Dies habe ich von einer professionellen Firma machen lassen. Das ist der einzige unschöne Punkt. Ansonsten TOP.
