The Sundown Audio SA Series, which includes the Sundown Audio SA12 v.2, is Sundown Audio's top-selling series! The new v.2 version features a larger, more powerful motor to drive the larger 2.75-inch coil and stronger centering - this maintains the perfect balance of the original SA series while increasing the power handling to 1000 watts RMS.

TheSundown AudioSA12 v.2 has alinear excursion (XMAX) of 19 mm whichallows slightly more than 35 mm x-mech. The motor also features a large magnet ID shorting ring (Faraday ring) to reduce distortion caused by inductance and inductance variations over the stroke.

The 18-inch model has a larger motor than the SA-10/12/15 v2 at 205 mm diameter and 60 mm magnet gap height. It has a large 234 mm diameter center spider pack for very high mechanical stroke capacity. It uses the same 2.75″ coil as the other SA v.2 series subwoofers for a rated power of 1000 watts RMS.
