Description

Discover the FIX-LSA-4, a DSP accessory from JL Audio. It is a load sensor adapter specifically designed for use with the FiX™ 82 or FiX™ 86 models. The FIX-LSA-4 is designed to provide a sufficiently low load impedance to enable smooth audio output - ideal for systems that perform speaker load measurement at power-up. It is easy to insert into the line and calibrate. Note, however, that an additional FiX-LSA-4 is required when connecting to more than four audio channels from your OEM head unit or amplifier.

Features

  • 4-K. Load sensor adapter for use with FiX™ 82 or FiX™ 86 OEM integration DSP
  • Some factory audio amplifiers use a load detection circuit that looks for a low impedance load to enable audio output.
  • If a high-impedance load, such as the input section of a FiX™ DSP, is connected to these factory amplifiers, the audio signal is muted.
  • The FiX-LSA-4 is designed to provide a sufficiently low load impedance to allow audio output in most of these situations.
  • Simply disconnect the input connections from the FiX™ DSP, insert the FiX-LSA-4 into the line and recalibrate the FiX-LSA-4 with the FiX-LSA-4 inserted.
  • Note: An additional FiX-LSA-4 is required if the FiX™ is connected to more than four audio channels from your OEM head unit or amplifier.
