The 5-212/C8/25 Hex Symphony II by ETON is a 5" (13cm) mid-bass driver that stands out for its exceptional sound quality and uncolored reproduction. With its 3-layer Hexacone sandwich membrane, it offers a fast and detailed sound presentation. The special construction, made of aramid fibers and a hexagonal internal structure, ensures maximum stiffness and internal absorption. Additionally, the manually applied coating provides a neutral membrane behavior. The Symphony II woofer offers a harmonious sound spectrum with gentle reflections of the overtones and pronounced mids. Thanks to the ferrite magnet geometry and ventilation technology, you achieve minimal compression effects at high amplitudes.
The ETON 5-212/C8/25 HEX SYMPHONY II 5" mid-bass driver features a 3-layer Hexacone sandwich membrane, fast and detailed reproduction, authentic staging, and a homogeneous, uncolored sound reproduction.
The specially patented production process made it possible for the first time to use a three-layer sandwich construction in combination with aramid fibers and their hexagonal internal structure. Maximum stiffness and excellent internal absorption are thus ensured. The manually applied coating also supports a neutral membrane behavior and gives the surface optical depth.
The Symphony II midrange and bass drivers produce a unique sound spectrum that is typical for Hex. The sound characteristics are harmonic, gentle reflections of the overtones and pronounced, light mids. In the bass range, a precise and powerful bass is generated. All Symphony II chassis are characterized by a high level of musical representation and an impressive sound image.
The special design of the ferrite magnet geometry ensures an almost perfectly symmetrical magnetic field. The multiple ventilation and flow-supporting casting basket guarantee minimum compression effects at large amplitudes.
