The Accuton C30-4-358 is a tweeter with an ultra-hard 30mm ceramic diaphragm in a 58 mm aluminum housing. It is exclusively designed for use in home hi-fi applications and must not be installed in vehicles under any circumstances. A proprietary tensioning technique allows for easy mounting and adaptation to various front panel designs. Since the break-up frequency of the diaphragm is above the audible range and well damped, no diaphragm cutouts are required. A unique FEA-optimized under-hung design with ventilated titanium voice coil former and dual neodymium magnets ensures low energy storage, excellent heat dissipation, and high excursion for low compression and extremely low distortion with values around 0.07% at 2.83 V and 0.5% max at 110 dB. The newly designed soft fabric surround centers the moving parts with improved linearity.
