The SB Acoustics SATORI AT60NC-4 ribbon tweeter/AMT with Kapton membrane sets new standards in high-frequency performance. The SATORI AT60NC-4 is capable of reproducing frequencies up to 40,000 Hz and can even be used in a 2-way system with a resonance frequency of 2200 Hz.

Completely new AMT tweeter from SB Satori, with precision membrane, unique damping foil, and optimized rear chamber. Includes an additional cosmetic plate. This tweeter has a uniform, controlled radiation behavior and a very flat impedance curve.

Bin ein großer Fan von AMTs und habe vor etlichen Jahren eine Zwei-Wege-Box mit dem Mundorf AMT25CM1.1 realisiert. Bin hochzufrieden damit. Für mein neues Zwei-Wege-Projekt habe ich wegen des zwischenzeitlich rasant gestiegenen Preises des Mundorf nach einer günstigeren (nicht billigeren!) Alternative gesucht. Aufgrund eines kürzlichen Tests kam ich auf diesen Satori-AMT, der ebenfalls die für Zwei-Wege-Lösungen notwendige niedrige Trennfrequenz ermöglicht. Die bisherigen Ergebnisse mit dem Satori AT60 NC-4 sind ausgezeichnet: luftig mit toller Räumlichkeit und enormer Feinzeichnung. Ob nach einer längeren Einlaufzeit noch eine Steigerung eintritt, ist noch offen. Aber auch so hat der Satori für meinen Einsatzzweck bereits die Qualitäten des Mundorf. Absolut überzeugend!
