Crossovers for splitting the audio signal

Crossovers enable the analog distribution of an audio signal to several speakers depending on the respective frequency (pitch). This is necessary because tweeters, mid-range speakers and woofers have been specially optimized to reproduce a specific frequency range. In order to be able to combine several different speaker types within a Carhifi system, appropriate crossovers are required which divide up the individual frequencies to suit the drivers in the speaker set .
