The 45-1125 - 45Ah LTO A-Grade 25C Extreme from GS Audio is a high-quality Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery. With a nominal voltage of 2.4V and a capacity of 45Ah, this battery offers an impressive lifespan of over 16,000 cycles. The cells can handle high charge and discharge currents and are suitable for various applications. Each cell weighs about 1 kg and measures 60 mm x 160 mm. The battery is designed for use in temperature applications from -55°C to 65°C.

Notes on LTO Cells
- The optimal working range of LTO cells is between 2.0V and 2.5V.
- When charging the cells above 2.5V, the voltage increases more significantly, and above 2.6V very significantly. Similarly, when discharging below 2.0V!
- Therefore, the use of a good active balancer is very important for LTO cells connected in series.
- If working with very large currents (charging or discharging), the working range may need to be further restricted to avoid strong voltage rises or drops.

- Lithium Titanate Cells (LTO)

- + very high charge and discharge currents possible (5C-10C)
- + less temperature-sensitive, can also be charged at <0°C
- + now affordable, cells have become cheaper

- - lower cell voltage (2.3V), therefore more cells needed for the same battery voltage
- Lithium Iron Phosphate Cells (LiFePO4)

- + higher cell voltage (3.2V), fewer cells needed
- - shorter lifespan
- - not quite as safe as LTO
- - max. charge or discharge currents are significantly lower (2C-3C)
