Look forward to the Prima APBX 8 R, an 8" (20cm) cabinet subwoofer from Audison, designed to deliver the perfect bass response in your car. Based on a bass reflex design, this robust model delivers powerful and precise sound in the lowest frequency range. With 500W peak power and a 4-ohm voice coil, the subwoofer is designed for maximum efficiency. Particularly noteworthy is its ability to make optimum use of the natural increase in power below 60 Hz, the so-called pressure chamber effect. The subwoofer's reflex enclosure has a positive influence on the excursion within the entire audio spectrum. Finally, it allows use with a pair of AP4.9 bit / AP4 D bridged channels capable of delivering 260 W rms. Despite its power, it has an ultra-slim cabinet and incorporates quality and innovative technologies and features that set it apart from other subwoofers of its kind.

Down-firing mounting to increase the low frequencies and
Up-firing mounting to get more punch and definition. - Includes leveling feet with Velcro fastener for a secure hold on the
carpet and is also easy to remove. - SSP (Sub Smart Plug) has both traditional push contacts and a
plug & play terminal block for easy configuration of the impedance as required
and enables quick unlocking. - Rounded corners allow easy positioning in the trunk and serve as
reinforcement and to reduce cabinet resonances. - Specially developed cone dust cap basket geometry, which has a
long linear deflection capacity (9 mm, one-sided). - Massive driver motor assembly, optimized with FEM (Finite Element Method)
modelling) for perfect control at high deflections. - Water-repellent, pressed paper, 8-inch cone, with a developed profile
calculated with FEM and optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer. - Specially developed for combination with the AP8.9 bit (2 CH bridged)
or AP4.9 bit /AP4 D (2 CH bridged) amplifiers using the bass
boost function and the integrated parametric equalizer of the integrated DSP. - A sturdy metal grille provides comprehensive protection for the subwoofer driver.
