The MILLE LEGEND ML 280.3 is a dome tweeter from Hertz. This tweeter is not only a further development; it has also been a recognized reference since its market launch. The ML 280.3 Legend was born from extensive research and development, with a specific focus on optimizing the Tetolon Dome geometry. Of particular note is the dazzling geometry, which has been further developed to improve the frequency response and reduce distortion. The device also benefits from an improved rear acoustic chamber. Ultimately, this results in a significant improvement in response at low frequencies.

- Neodymium magnet optimized with FEA simulations of magnetic flux to ensure maximum control and fast response to transients.
- Extremely pure copper shorting ring for excellent high-frequency extension.
- Die-cast aluminium front panel with a profile optimized by FEA simulations to improve the frequency response and dispersion characteristics.
- Tetolon fiber dome tweeter optimized with FEA simulations for lower distortion and improved dispersion characteristics in the high frequency range.
- The frame structure and the rear load chamber are both made from a CNC-machined solid aluminum block to ensure a mechanically inert response to resonances.
- The rear chamber is designed for an Fs value of only 900 Hz: The low Fs value ensures a wide extension in the low frequency range and low distortion even in the crossover region, which enables a lower cut-off frequency.
- High-density damping material under the dome and low-density absorbing material in the rear chamber ensure smooth sound dispersion and high damping in the low frequency range.
