Discover the LTO individual cells with 40Ah/45Ah capacity from GS Audio. Whether as a replacement or upgrade, these Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) cells have a lot to offer. With dimensions of 160mm in height and 66mm in width, they are optimally sized and weigh approximately 1.25 - 1.3kg. Their nominal voltage is 2.3 V and they can be used at an operating temperature of -55°C to 65°C. The optimal discharge and charge rate is 40-45 A, but they are designed to handle higher currents as well. Note that the manufacturer's recommendations for charging and discharging protect the condition of the cells and extend their lifespan. Soon, these robust, high-performance cells could be part of your system.

Notes on LTO Cells
- The optimal operating range of YINLONG LTO cells is between 2.0V and 2.5V.
- When charging the cells above 2.5V, the voltage increases more sharply, very sharply above 2.6V. Similarly, when discharging below 2.0V!
- Therefore, the use of a good active balancer is very important for LTO cells connected in series.
- If working with very large currents (charging or discharging), the operating range may need to be further restricted to avoid strong voltage rises or drops.
Difference between: LTO - LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries
- Lithium Titanate Cells (LTO)
- + extremely long lifespan
- + 10x higher cycle life than LiFePO4 cells

- + very high charge and discharge currents possible (5C-10C)
- + less temperature sensitive, can also be charged at <0°C
- + now affordable, cells have become cheaper

- - lower cell voltage (2.3V), therefore more cells needed for the same battery voltage

- - not as safe as LTO
- - max. charge and discharge currents are significantly lower (2C-3C)
