The Sundown Audio X8 v.4 from the Xv4 series is another subwoofer model in the Xv.4 series that utilizes Sundown Audio's "Ultra-High Excursion" suspension and frame designs.
Sundown Audio introduces the Sundown Audio X8 v4 , a new platform with a huge triple stacked motor structure that allows for an extreme X-Max of just over 19mm per direction. This motor drives a 2.5″ diameter CCAW coil wound on a thick aluminum bobbin with incredible excursion. In the v4 version, the coil has been upgraded to a new "black coil design" that dissipates significantly more heat than the Xv3 series coil.
The Xv4 series subwoofers are designed for the LOWEST possible frequencies in the smallest possible enclosure, while maintaining extremely low distortion.
