STABLE POWER SUPPLY Anyone who uses very powerful amplifiers in their vehicle will be familiar with the problem: when bass attacks, the nominal 12 volt vehicle electrical system "collapses", which is noticeable, among other things, by the lighting flickering in time with the music. The problem: A car battery may be very powerful, but due to its high internal resistance it is not able to deliver fast current pulses. However, these are needed so that very powerful amplifiers can reproduce bass in a dry and clean manner.

HYBRID POWERCAPS With the new hybrid buffer capacitors ZXT 5.0 and ZXT 10.0 from the ZEUS EXTREME series, such problems are a thing of the past. Thanks to modern hybrid technology, in which an electrolyte liquid and a polymer serve as a film base, it is possible to accommodate up to 10 Farads of capacitance in compact housings. At the same time, the technology ensures a very low internal series resistance (ESR), so that the power is available at lightning speed.

FAST & STRONG ZEUS EXTREME capacitors deliver the stored extra power precisely when the subwoofer amplifier IMMEDIATELY needs a lot of energy for the heavy bass output. The released energy is then recharged from the battery in the power cap for the next attack. The capacitor can thus buffer and smooth out voltage peaks by absorbing excess energy and releasing it again when needed.
