The
Sound Install Products Ultra2.1 is an easily moldable composite material consisting of a solid aluminum foil and a self-adhesive damping layer based on butyl rubber. As the successor to the Ultra1.7, the Ultra2.1 has exceptional sound deadening and damping properties thanks to the special mixture of butyl. These properties are maintained over a wide temperature range. Due to the solid aluminum foil, the Ultra2.1 also has a stiffening and stabilizing effect. The main areas of application for the Ultra2.1 from Sound Install Products are wherever vibrations and noises need to be dampened, for example in sheet metal parts such as door panels, vehicle roofs and floors, but also air ducts.
