The Sundown Audio SA Series, which includes the Sundown Audio SA8 v.3, is the top-selling series from Sundown Audio! The brand new v.3 version features a larger, more powerful motor to drive the 2-inch coil and stronger centering—this maintains the perfect balance of the original SA Series while increasing power handling to 500 watts RMS. The Sundown Audio SA8 v.3 is the first subwoofer available in the v.3 version! The Sundown Audio SA8 v.3 has a linear excursion (XMAX) of 16 mm, which allows for just over 32 mm x-mech. The motor also features a large magnet ID shorting ring (Faraday ring) to reduce distortion caused by inductance and inductance variation over stroke.
