Plus One™ woofer membranes
- Harman's patented (US Patent No. 7,548,631) Plus One™ polypropylene woofer cones provide up to 35% more cone area by moving the attachment point between the surround and the frame outward. The benefit of this technology is an increase in overall efficiency of up to 2 dB. This ensures superior performance, whether upgrading a factory system or as a purely retrofit system with external amplification.

Ventilated basket frame construction
- The super-rigid, ventilated baskets help cool the voice coils and make the speaker so reliable. Not only do they look cool, but they also offer a real benefit: they dissipate heat from the motor structure, almost like a fan, as the diaphragm moves through its stroke. The benefits are lower distortion at high output levels, longer speaker life and higher power handling.
