Description
The FOUR Connect STAGE3 2-channel RCA cables in 5.5m length have thicker conductors than usual, which are made of tinned OFC (T-OFC). The conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², which is a real overkill for RCA cables. The fourfold shielded twisted pair structure eliminates unwanted noise.
Another noise suppression factor is an additional wire that is located in all cables. The conductors are covered with a double foil to prevent inductive noise. The conductors are insulated with two layers of materials that are also used in high-voltage cables. This structure ensures incredibly good noise suppression, which is particularly important in the car environment.
The connectors are rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC) and each connector is tested at the factory to ensure they have excellent retention.
The connector housings are made of HDPE plastic, which has a high insulation factor. The housings have a counter-rotating cone structure that serves as strain relief for the cable.
