One unit is available, installed for testing and operated for approximately one week; minor signs of installation are present. Technically flawless.

The Power Tuned 9915b ESP is a 15-inch subwoofer from DD Audio. This subwoofer features a unique combination of Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB), Vario-Density Extended Range of Motion Surround (V-ROM), and Tuned Spider System (TSS). All these features combine to deliver incredible bass performance and dynamic sound reproduction. With an RMS power handling of 2500 watts and a peak power of 10000 watts, this unit offers the ultimate sound experience. Furthermore, the subwoofer can be supercharged to produce even tighter and cleaner bass across its entire power range.

The SuperCharge option

• With the Supercharge option, you'll hear an even tighter and cleaner bass across the entire power range.
• What exactly happens during SuperCharging? By adding a specially shaped neodymium shorting ring to a flush-cut pole piece, with the opposite polarity facing downwards, you redirect otherwise wasted magnetic energy into the voice coil gap. This increases the usable motor power by 20-25%, allowing smaller, lighter motors to have the same driving power as larger motors.
• You can't run a SuperCharged subwoofer with more power, and the SPL rating won't increase, but you'll hear a cleaner output at higher volumes. SuperCharged subwoofers use the power you give them more efficiently, but you still have the same heat dissipation and voice coil area. This means the power handling is the same as the standard model.
• Note: The Supercharge subwoofers are manufactured to order. Please allow an additional 4-6 weeks for delivery on top of the stated delivery time.

• Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB) - The CFB composition uses a powerful carbon fiber-based cocktail to offer you the highest strength/weight ratio in the industry.
• Vario-Density Extended Range of Motion Surround (V-ROM) – Offers ultimate linear control at high excursions while enabling dynamic-sounding bass reproduction. The control ribs are compressed to a lower density than the main surround body to allow for a continuously variable control system. The harder you control it, the more control you get.
• Tuned Spider System (TSS) - Each suspension is tuned for specific performance characteristics, e.g. High Definition, Power Handling, X-Stiff Control.
• Super-Frame (SFrame) - Maximizes spider diameter, cone diameter, suspension deflection, thus acting as a secondary short-circuit ring and providing additional heat dissipation for better heat flow from the coil.
