Beschreibung
The subwoofers of the Sundown Audio LCS series, which includes the Sundown Audio LCS-10 V2 10" (25cm) subwoofers are known for their impressive bass reproduction and high reliability. Typical entry-level subwoofers are severely limited in terms of linear excursion, mechanical robustness and thermal performance - these are all aspects that Sundown Audio has taken to the next level in the Sundown LCS series. The refreshed v.2 update features an all-new, purpose-built frame, push terminals, a rubber mounting gasket and improved tinsel cables.
A double stacked magnet structure and an extremely long voice coil allow a class leading linear x-max of 14mm in one direction to be achieved, in addition to high mechanical clearances (over 2" peak to peak). The large coil combined with the gap venting, bevelled pole piece design and optimised pole venting give the LCS series impressive thermal performance. Mechanical stability and durability are ensured by the strong paper cone, robust foam surround and a high quality spider with fully bonded finned cables. All key areas of subwoofer durability have been considered to the maximum possible level in this category.
