The  SoundQubed  HDS2.210 D4 10" (25cm) subwoofer from the Heavy Duty Street 2 Series with 600W, improves its predecessor in terms of construction, sound quality, heat dissipation and frequency response. 
Note: Due to the smaller form factor, the specifications of the 6.5-inch version differ from the rest of the series. The power handling of the 6.5-inch HDS206 is 350W RMS and 1000W Peak. Check the specifications tab for full details.
The HDS2 Series is an affordable option for your everyday car audio system. First, choose between a sealed, open or bandpass enclosure. Once you've chosen an enclosure, pair your subwoofer with the matching S-Series monoblock amplifier. Wiring is easy thanks to the 10 AWG push-in terminals (14 AWG direct cable on the 6.5" and 8" models). You'll soon be on your way to a dramatically improved listening experience.
As with any SoundQubed subwoofer, proper break-in is key to long life for your HDS2.2. Be sure to follow the suspension loosening steps before pushing the subwoofer to its limits.
The oversized dual magnet in the HDS2 provides a consistently high output of 600 watts RMS. The vented, electroplated back plate allows heat to flow away from the coil, reducing the likelihood of burning up your subwoofer's voice coils.
The HDS2 series uses a 2.5" diameter dual copper voice coil with a tapered back plate for longer travel. High temperature adhesives and high quality coil wire guarantee reliable long term performance and a healthy level of bass!
The HDS2 series features cast aluminum frames. This upgrade provides better heat dissipation and higher excursion than stamped steel baskets. A softer three-piece spider system provides better performance and less tuning.
The EROM (Extended Range of Motion) profile keeps the cone diameter as large as possible while allowing a long, controlled excursion. The EROM profile gives you a larger diaphragm area, higher stiffness and lower mass for a more precise coil signal response. The HDS2 has a non-pressed, fiber-reinforced diaphragm for maximum stiffness and long life.
