The ATC130S DVC speaker set from Axton, a 5" (13cm) model, offers a variety of outstanding features. The woofer/midrange driver has a precision-made composite basket, a strontium ferrite magnet and a low-resonance polypropylene membrane, complemented by a linear NBR nitrile rubber surround as well as a rear-ventilated NOMEX spider and hard gold-plated, corrosion-resistant plug contacts. The tweeters include a 25 mm fabric dome, a diffuser for the best spatial imaging and a powerful neodymium magnet with ferrofluid cooling. The crossover is designed to save space and offers a level reduction for the tweeter. With a frequency response of 65 Hz - 25 kHz, a nominal impedance of 2 x 4 ohms, a sensitivity of 87 dB and a nominal power handling of 70 Wrms, this is a versatile and powerful speaker set.
