The AE165 from Axton is a 6.5" (16.5 cm) coaxial loudspeaker that ensures precise sound reproduction with its 2-way coaxial system. Equipped with a compact basket construction made of sheet steel in Euro-DIN format and a powerful strontium ferrite magnet, it offers a solid construction. The lightweight injection-molded polypropylene membrane and the polyurethane foam surround enable precise reproduction across the entire transmission range. The 13 mm mylar dome tweeter, cooled with ferrofluid and driven by a neodymium drive, complements the sound image. Matching LS grilles are included in delivery. Technical data include a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, a sensitivity of 86 dB and a nominal power handling of 100 W. The installation diameter is 145 mm and the installation depth is 55 mm.
